Create with Clay; Spring Session at NCVRC
We're so looking forward to continuing this partnership with the Recovery Center! Create with Clay a drop-in class for all ages on Monday evenings with Instructor Jude Prashaw. This multigenerational class aims to destigmatize recovery and integrate folks into a community network through positive art experiences. You don't need to be in recovery to join and we encourage folks who are feeling isolated to come to a class and meet new faces.
Jude Prashaw is a pillar of the River Arts teaching staff and approaches clay as a therapeutic tool to connect with one another and express intuitive creativity.
“I loved the clay class Jude presented. First of all, she was adorable, full of enthusiasm, and let us know right off that we were here to have FUN. No judgment. I was moved to let go of “ Am I good enough?” and I dove right in. It was as if she turned off the self-consciousness for me and away I went! I am so delighted with the pieces I made and they were not perfect! I am so inspired to do more! Thank you Jude for sharing your love of clay-work!”
