2026 Summer CAMPS
AT RIVER ARTS
Unleash your creativity and dive into a summer of artistic adventure at River Arts! Our Summer 2026 day camps offer hands-on experiences for young artists, musicians, and makers of all kinds. Campers can rock out in a band at River Rock, experiment with mixed media art, explore children’s rights and global cultures through Art Across Borders, or design skate-inspired artwork and skate alongside peers in Sk8 the Art.
Each camp blends creative instruction with outdoor time, collaborative projects, and playful exploration in a supportive, inclusive environment. Whether you love making music, painting and sculpting, learning about the world through art, or combining movement and design, there’s a River Arts camp waiting for you. Join us for a week (or more!) of inspiration, imagination, and fun!
Pickup/Drop Off: Camps run from 9am-3pm. Drop-off begins at 8:45 am and pickup should be complete by 3:15 pm.
Food: River Arts will provide lunches and healthy snacks. Campers are allowed to bring their own lunches..
Supervision: All camps are supervised by Rivers Arts’ full-time Program Manager, Elena, and River Arts team. Each camp is led by one or two instructors and an assistant. Camps are typically capped at 20-25 students for a 1 to 10 student/teacher ratio.
Fun: This is summer camp after all! Campers will spend time outside, moving their bodies and enjoying the sunshine. This may include walking to the Morristown Centennial Library, Oxbow Park, the Rail Trail, and other short distances from the River Arts building. Please be mindful of the weather and bring appropriate attire.

Why are most River Arts camps now two weeks?
We’ve shifted many of our summer camps to a two-week format to give campers more time to settle in, collaborate, and develop their ideas. The extended schedule allows for deeper creative exploration, stronger friendships, and more complete projects—whether that’s a performance, a body of artwork, or a collaborative piece.
When you register, you’re signing up for the full two-week experience, which helps create a consistent, supportive group and a more meaningful camp experience for everyone.
